Dr Davide Consoli

Biography

I graduated in Economics at the University of Catania (Italy) in 1999. After an M.A. in Economics at the University of Manchester (2001) I completed a Ph.D. at CRIC in October 2004. In the same period had the opportunity to become part of CRIC staff, where I was research associate for one year. Since October 2005 I work at CRIC with a Postdoctoral Fellowship of the Manchester Business School.

Research Interests

I am interested in the dynamics of large technical systems and most of my research is focused on the retail banking and health-care sectors. My publications deal with a number of complementary themes within the broader frame of industrial evolution, namely: the emergence and development of new technologies, the role of organizational and institutional changes, and the relation between demand and innovation.
